Trial of a Child and 22 Defendants Adjourned to January 2019

Giza Criminal Court postponed the trial of the 15-year-old Aser Zahr Aldin and 22 other defendants to January 19, 2010 to resume the pleadings.

The defendants are charged with joining the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, unlawful assembly, vandalism of Three Pyramids hotel and a tourist bus, assaulting an official employee, along with possession of explosives, unregistered weapons and ammunition. (Lawsuits: 301/2016 Talbeya-Criminal, 1516/2016 General South-Giza).

10 February 2018 

The 5th Department of Giza Criminal Court, headed by counselor Nagy Shehata, has adjourned the adjudication of the child Aser Zahr Aldin and 22 other defendants to the 18th of March in order to resume the pleadings.

The defendants had been charged with joining the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist group, unlawful assembly, vandalism of Three Pyramids hotel and a tourist bus, assaulting an official employee and possession of explosives, unregistered weapons and ammunition. (Lawsuits: 301/2016 Talbeya-Criminal, 1516/2016 General South-Giza).
