Court has renewed the detention of the journalist Hassan Hussain

High State Security Prosecution has renewed the detention of the former journalist Hassan Hussain, 15 days pending investigation. Hassan is charged with Joining a terrorist group, promoting it’s ideas on social media and spreading false news, in lawsuit number 482/2018 HSSP.

Police forces had raided the house of 62 years old journalist on the 2nd of march and searched it without a search warrant from the general prosecution, before forcefully disappearing him for 5 days. During that time Hassan’s family has sent a telegraph to both the prosecutor general and the ministry of inferior in order to report the indecent.
