Naglaa Fathy Fouad released under the guarantee of her residence

Today, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to release Naglaa Fathy Fouad under the guarantee of her residence, pending lawsuit No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

On July 14, 2020, Fouad was arrested from her house in Alexandria; and she faced charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing a social media website for the aim of spreading false news.

On February 8, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of Naglaa Fathy Fouad for 45 days in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

On July 14, 2020, Fouad was arrested from her house in Alexandria; she was listed in connection with Case No. 535 of 2020 till her release order was issued on January 17, 2021, but the order didn’t pass, and she was rotated in the current case.

The investigations charged her with several accusations including joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing a social media website for the aim of spreading false news.

Saturday, October 9, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) considered the detention order of “Naglaa Fathy Fouad” and ordered to extend it for 45 days. This came pending Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

On July 14, 2020, “Naglaa” was arrested from her house in Alexandria; she was listed in connection with Case No. 535 of 2020 till her release order was issued on January 17, 2021, but the order didn’t pass, and she was rotated in the current case.

The investigations charged her with joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing a social media website for the aim of spreading false news.

The Council Chamber of the Criminal Court, held at Institute of Police Secretaries in Tura, considered the detention order of “Naglaa Fathy Fouad”, and ordered to renew her detention for 45 extra days, this came pending Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security Prosecution, The mentioned court considered the order to renew the detention on Monday, August 30, 2021, in the presence of AFTE’s lawyer.

It’s mentioned that “Naglaa” was arrested from her house in Alexandria governorate on July 14, 2020, and she was listed pending case No. 535 of 2020, till her release order was issued on January 17, 2021, but the order didn’t pass and she was rotated in the current case.

13 July 2021

The Council Chamber of the Criminal Court considered the detention order of “Naglaa Fathy Fouad”, and ordered to renew her detention for 45 extra days, this came pending Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security, The mentioned court considered the order to renew the defendant’s detention on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, in the presence of AFTE’s lawyer.

It’s mentioned that “Naglaa” was arrested from her house in Alexandria governorate on July 14, 2020, and kept detained till her release order was issued on January 17, 2021, but the order didn’t pass and she was recycled in the new case.

27 June 2021

The Council Chamber of the Criminal Court had decided in its session held on Sunday, June 27, 2021, to renew the detention of “Naglaa Fathy Fouad” for 45 days pending Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security.

It’s noteworthy that The Council Chamber of the Criminal Court had decided before in the session held on January 17 of this year, to release “Naglaa” by precautionary measures in Case No. 535 of 2020, in which she was charged with joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing social media, but it wasn’t implemented and it was recycled in the current case.
