Khalifa was arrested on March 9, 2020, and was brought before the prosecution on March 18, which accused him of joining a group founded in violation of the law and attempting to form a clandestine labor organization. The prosecution decided to detain Khalifa for four days pending investigations, and his detention was renewed for 15 days pending investigations at the March 21 session.<\/p>\n
The prosecution referred the case to the Emergency State Security Misdemeanors Court, for the May 16, 2020 session, and demanded that Khalifa be punished under articles 1, 2, and 4 of the \u00a0\u00a0Anti-Terrorism law No. 94 of 2015.
