He was charged with joining a terrorist group, misusing social media, and spreading false news.<\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>29 March 2022\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On Tuesday, March 29, The Criminal Court (The Third Circuit Terrorism) decided to renew the detention of Ahmed Mohammad Abu Khalil for 45 days, in connection with Case No. 558 of 2020 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On June 3, 2020, security forces arrested Abu Khalil from his house, ten days later he appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in connection with the same case. He was charged with joining a terrorist group, misusing social media, and spreading false news.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>27 September 2021\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Yesterday, The Criminal Court (The Third Circuit Terrorism) considered the detention order of Ahmed Mohammad Abu Khalil\u201d and ordered to extend it for 45 days. This came pending Case No. 558 of 2020 Supreme State Security.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Security forces arrested \u201cAbu Khalil\u201d on June 3, 2020, from his house, and he was taken to an unknown location. And for ten days, he was subjected to enforced disappearance until he appeared before the State Security Prosecution, and he was investigated in the current Case.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">After investigations, The Prosecution charged him with joining a terrorist group, misusing social media, and spreading false news.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>22 August 2021\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Third Circuit (Criminal \/ Terrorism) considered the detention order of \u201cAhmed Mohammad Abu Khalil\u201d, and ordered to renew his detention for 45 extra days, this came pending Case No. 558 of 2020 Supreme State Security, The mentioned court considered the order to renew the defendant\u2019s detention on Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the presence of AFTE\u2019s lawyer.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u201cAbu Khalil\u201d was arrested on June 3, 2020, from his house, and he was taken to an unknown location, and for 10 days he was subjected to enforced disappearance until he appeared before the State Security Prosecution, and he was investigated in the current Case.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">In which he was charged with joining a terrorist group, misusing social media, and spreading false news.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>4 May 2021<\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The Third Circuit (Criminal\/Terrorism), had decided yesterday 4 May 2021, to renew the detention of founder and executive director of the \u201cRowaah\u201d platform, &#8220;Ahmed Mohammad Abu Khalil&#8221; for 45 days pending investigations into case No. 558 of 2020 supreme state security.<\/div>\n<div>&#8220;Ahmed&#8221; is facing charges of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>23 February 2021<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Third Circuit (Criminal\/Terrorism) decided in the February 23 session to renew the detention of \u201cAhmed Mohammad Abu Khalil\u201d, founder of the \u201cRowat\u201d platform, for 45 days pending investigations into case no. 558\/2020 Supreme State Security, on charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>13 Dec 2020\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Third Circuit (Criminal\/Terrorism) decided in the December 13 session to renew the detention of \u201cAhmed Mohammad Abu Khalil\u201d, founder of the \u201cRowat\u201d platform, for 45 days pending investigations into case no. 558\/2020 Supreme State Security, on charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>5 November 2020<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Second Circuit (Criminal\/Terrorism) decided to renew the detention of \u201cAhmed Mohammad Abu Khalil\u201d, founder of the &#8220;Rowat&#8221; platform, for 45 days pending investigations into case no. 558\/2020 Supreme State Security, on charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Renewing the detention \u201cAhmed Mohammad Abu Khalil\u201d for 45 days<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":30269,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_lmt_disableupdate":"yes","_lmt_disable":"","_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[978,975],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-20250","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-legal-news-en","category-legal-profiles-en"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.1.1 -
