{"id":20479,"date":"2020-12-15T18:08:28","date_gmt":"2020-12-15T16:08:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afteegypt.org\/?p=20479"},"modified":"2020-12-16T15:41:50","modified_gmt":"2020-12-16T13:41:50","slug":"job-opening-research-units-researcher-position","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/afteegypt.org\/en\/jobs\/2020\/12\/15\/20479-afteegypt.html","title":{"rendered":"Job Opening: Research Unit&#8217;s Researcher position"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Association for Freedom of Thought and Expression (AFTE) is seeking to recruit a researcher at the Research Unit, according to the following criteria and requirement:<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>Required Experiences and Skills<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to write reports, studies, papers and statements.<\/li>\n<li>Ability and Knowledge of how to deal with victims of violations, and document their cases.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with official authorities and to build relations with the target groups.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in writing and searching with English and Arabic Languages.<\/li>\n<li>Communication skills and ability to work under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>BA degree, Political or Social Sciences are preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Previous research experience in the human rights field or in one of the research centers is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Belief in fundamental principles of human rights.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow-up on the assigned files.<\/li>\n<li>Preparing reports, documents, researches and statements.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating with target groups and victims of violations.<\/li>\n<li>Providing periodic reports to the director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>\u00a0About the position:<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 working hours daily, 5 days a week.<\/li>\n<li>There will be a probationary period at least 3 months before being appointed.
