However, the Abu Zaabal prison administration ignored the court\u2019s decision. AFTE\u2019s lawyer demanded an investigation in this regard of deliberate medical negligence. El-Rouby faces accusations of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing social media.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>29 March 2023 &#8220;Criminal Court renews Sherif El-Rouby\u2019s detention for 45 days despite suffering from severe inflammation of the seventh nerve and his inability to speak&#8221;\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On March 29, the Criminal Court (Third Circuit) decided to renew Sherif El-Rouby\u2019s detention for 45 days, pending investigations of case No. 1634 of 2022 (State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the hearing, El-Rouby complained before the court from the deliberate medical negligence practiced against him, as he suffers from severe inflammation of the seventh nerve which resulted in excruciating pain and difficulty in speaking. The prison administration refused to transfer him to the hospital or provide him with appropriate health care.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should be noted that El-Rouby was reaccused in the current case, only three months after his release in another case. The same charges he faced before pending other cases before his release. He was arrested once again only three months after his release; as a result of speaking out about the sufferings of the political prisoners after their release.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><b>17 January 2023<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On January 17; the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Sherif El-Rouby, the political activist, at April 6 Movement, pending investigations into case No. 1634 of 2022 (State Security).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El-Rouby faces charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news and information, and misusing social media, the exact charges he faced before in different cases, the most recent of which was Case No. 1111 of 2020, in which El-Rouby spent 18 months in pretrial detention before he got a presidential pardon. It was preceded by several other cases in which he also faced the exact charges.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>3 January 2023\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On January 3, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew activist Sherif El-Rouby\u2019s detention for 15 days, pending investigations of the third case in which he\u2019s convicted, case No. 1634 of 2022 (State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El-Rouby was subjected to many violations, such as being included in three cases with similar charges. After his release, pending the second case in which he was detained for a year and a half, he did not enjoy his freedom for long, as he was arrested again after only three months. The third case in which El-Rouby is convicted with similar charges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El-Rouby spent a year and a half in pretrial detention pending the previous case, and he was released after his name was listed in presidential pardons for political prisoners, but he was arrested again after nearly three months. El-Rouby\u2019s arrest comes as a result of his expression of the difficulties that face the released political detainees in forming a normal life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El-Rouby faces charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing social media, the exact charges he faced before.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>8 November 2022 &#8220;Supreme State Security Prosecution renews activist Sherif El-Rouby\u2019s detention for 15 days&#8221;<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On November 8, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of activist Sherif El-Rouby for 15 days, in connection with Case No. 1634 of 2022 State Security.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El-Rouby was listed in this case only after less than three months of his release within the presidential pardon initiative pending another case, in which he spent more than a year and half in pretrial detention, as El-Rouby participated in a phone interview on Al-Jazeera in which he talked about the difficulties that faces the released detainees in living a normal life, he was arrested shortly after the interview.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El-Rouby faces charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing social media, the same charges he faced before.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>11 October 2022 &#8220;Supreme State Security Prosecution renews Sherif El-Rouby\u2019s detention for 15 days pending a new case after only three months of his release&#8221;\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On October 11, The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of activist Sherif El-Rouby for 15 days in connection with a new case he was listed in, only after three months of his release, that carries No. 1634 of 2022 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This time, El-Rouby was arrested on the 16th of September after he participated in an interview on Al-Jazeera in which he talked about the difficulties the released detainees of political lawsuits face, such as social ostracism and the nearly impossible chance of them obtaining a job that guarantees them a decent life after their release, in addition to preventing him from traveling abroad and the authorities refused to issue him a passport.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El-Rouby spent a year and a half in pre-trial detention in connection with Case No. 1111 of 2020 State Security;
