\nOn September 21, 2019, Ebrahim disappeared from El-Basateen police station After presenting himself in, to fulfil his probation under precautionary measures, in lawsuit No. 621 \/ 2018. In which before, he was in custody, pending investigation from April 7, 2018, until the prosecution ordered his release on July 22, 2019.<\/p>\n
The police station denied Ebrahim\u2019s existence inside the station. And after 18 days of enforced disappearance, Ebrahim was brought before the State Security prosecution, in Fifth Settlement district, to face charges of misusing the online social networks in lawsuit No. 1356\/2019 Supreme State Security. Ebrahim\u2019s arrest followed his work on covering demonstrations against Al-Sisi\u2019s regime.<\/p>\n
On November 3, 2020, the Criminal Court decided Ibrahim\u2019s release, but the court\u2019s decision had not been implemented, and his lawyers were surprised that he was detained again pending a new third case that carried No. 855 of 2020 Supreme State Security
\nOn the 11th of the same month. The State Security Prosecution accused Ibrahim of the same previous accusations, which including joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its purposes.<\/p>\n
Oxygen was referred to the Emergency State Security Court in the State Security Case 1228\/202, in which he is accused of spreading false news, which is replicated from the charges against him in Case 1356\/2019, from which he was released in November 2020. He was summoned again in August by the State Security\u2019s Public Prosecution for further investigations in that case and accusing him of the same charges. The court held its first session on October 18, 2021.<\/p>\n
On December 20, 2021, the Emergency State Security Misdemeanor Court issued a 4-year prison sentence against Ibrahim. The Emergency Supreme State Security Court is one of the exceptional judicial institutions with verdicts that cannot be appealed under the emergency law. Ibrahim is also still in pretrial detention pending the Supreme State Security Case 855\/2020.<\/p>\n
It is worth noting that Ibrahim tried to end his life inside his cell in Tora prison in reaction to the violations practiced against him, as well as the continuous renewal of his pretrial detention, the arbitrariness of preventing his family from visiting him for a period exceeding 15 months. He was rescued at the last moments.<\/p>\n
