He was arrested at the beginning of last March from his house in Alexandria, and the prosecution charged him with joining a terrorist group.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>7 February 2022<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On Monday, February 7, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of lawyer Mohamed Elsayed Abdel-Fatah for 45 days, in connection with Case No. 627 of 2021 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A security force arrested Abdel-Fatah from his house in Alexandria at the beginning of last March.
