Estshhad faces accusations of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>9 May 2023\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On May 9, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of Estshhad Kamal Rezk, for 45 days pending investigations of lawsuit No. 680 of 2020 (Supreme State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Security forces arrested Estshhad in November 2020, which means that she has exceeded two years in pretrial detention, which is the maximum period according to Egyptian law. Estshhad faces accusations of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>22 February 2023\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On the hearing of Wednsday, February 22, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) held at Badr\u2019s Court decided to renew the detention of Estshhad Kamal Rezk, for 45 days pending investigations of Case No. 680 of 2020 (Supreme State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police forces arrested the student at Al-Azhar University, Estshhad, on November 9, 2020, she was interrofated before the prosecution for the first time on November 19 of the same year. She was accused of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><b>13 December 2022<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On December 13, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of the student at Al-Azhar University, Estshhad Kamal Rezk, for 45 days in connection with Case No. 680 of 2020 (Supreme State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Security forces arrested Estshhad in November 2020.
