\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Security forces arrested <\/span>Abou Elrous and Othman at Cairo International Stadium on April 5, 2023, following Al-Ahly\u2019s match against Ghazl El-Mahalla. They were initially referred to Nasr City Prosecution, which ordered their release on bail two days later. Cairo Criminal Court (Third Circuit) decided to renew the pretrial detention of Ahmed Shaker Abou Elrous and Ali Othman Ali, for 45 days pending investigations of lawsuit No. 508 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n

On April 5, security forces arrested Abou Elrous and Ali after they attended a match as Al-Ahly fans at Cairo International Stadium. They were detained at Nasr City police station for two days before the prosecution decided to release them on financial bail.<\/p>\n

On the hearing of July 26th, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided, for the sixth time, to renew the detention of Ahmed Shaker Abou Elrous and Ali Othman Ali, for 15 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 508 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n

Security forces arrested Abou Elrous and Othman on April 5, after a football match for Al-Ahly football club; they were detained at Nasr City police station for two days, against accusations of rioting and assaulting the security forces. Afterward, they were supposed to be released. Still, they remained detained till April 10, when they were interrogated before the Supreme State Security Prosecution, which charged them with different accusations and charged them in this lawsuit.<\/p>\n

On July 12, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of two of Al-Ahly football club fans, Ahmed Shaker Abou Elrous and Ali Othman, for 15 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 805 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n

Abou Elrous and Othman were arrested from Cairo International Stadium on April 5 after a football match of Al-Ahly; they were detained at Nasr City police station for two days, and the prosecution later decided to release them on bail. On June 20, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of two Al-Ahly football club fans who were arrested from Cairo International Stadium after a match for Al-Ahly club, namely: Ahmed Shaker Abou Elrous and Ali Othman Ali, for 15 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 805 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n

After their arrest from the stadium on April 5, the Nasr City Prosecution charged them with rioting in the stadium and assaulting the security forces, and decided to release them two days later on bail; however they remained detained until they were transferred to the Supreme State Security Prosecution, which brought different accusations this time, which are joining a terrorist group, committing one of the crimes of financing a terrorist group, spreading false news and statements that may harm security and public order, and using an account on social media to spread the false information for a terrorist purpose.<\/p>\n

On May 15, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Ahmed Ma\u2019amon Shaker Abou El-Rous and Ali Othman for 15 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 508 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n

Abou El-Rous and Othman were arrested about a month and a half ago from Cairo International Stadium; they were detained for two days before Nasr City Prosecution issued a decision to release them; however, their detention continued even after the release decision, and they were transferred to the Supreme State Security Prosecution, which accused them of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, committing the crime of financing a terrorist group, spreading false news and statements that would harm public security and order, using an account on social media to spread the false news and information for a terrorist purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n
