They were brought before the prosecution against accusations of rioting and assaulting the security forces; two days later, Nasr City prosecution decided to release them; however, the Prosecution\u2019s decision never passed, and they were detained at the prosecution\u2019s headquarters till April, the 10th, where they were interrogated before Supreme State Security Prosecution against different accusations of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, committing the crime of financing a terrorist group, spreading false news and statements that would harm public security and order, using an account on social media to spread the false news and information for a terrorist purpose.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #800000; color: #ffffff;\"><b>Criminal Court\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><b>April 18 hearings:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed the detention of Mohamed Mahmoud Abou Mandour for 45 days pending investigations of case No. 2216 of 2022 (State Security).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 40 years old, Abou Mandour was subjected to physical torture after he was arrested for sharing several political posts on Facebook; the prosecution accused him of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, committing the crime of financing terrorism, inciting to commit a terrorist act, spreading false news and information that would disturb public peace and order, using an account on social media to commit a terrorist crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Similarly, The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed Ahmed Abdel Mageed Oraby\u2019s detention for 45 days, pending investigations of case No. 2094 of 2022 (Supreme State Security).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oraby was too arrested for sharing several posts on Facebook containing his political opinions and comments on the domestic situation; he faces accusations of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, committing the crime of financing terrorism, inciting to commit a terrorist crime, participating in the criminal agreement to commit a terrorist crime, spreading false news and information, and using an account on the Internet to commit a terrorist crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #800000; color: #ffffff;\"><b>State Council Courts\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On April 18, the Administrative Judicial Court referred AFTE\u2019s appeal against the president of Helwan University and the dean of the university\u2019s Faculty of Art Education to the State Commissioners Authority; to consult its legal opinion. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It should be noted that AFTE filed the appeal that carried No. 2330 of 70 Judicial year on behalf of a faculty graduate after the university informed her of her official nomination for a teaching assistant position.
