Oraby appeared before the court barefoot, and about a month ago; Oraby was transferred to the Penitentiary Centre of Badr 3 prison as a punishment for opposing ill-treatment from an officer in his previous prison.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Security forces arrested Oraby in November after sharing 15 posts on Facebook discussing his political views and his comments on the domestic economy. Oraby faces accusations of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, committing the crime of financing terrorism, inciting to commit a terrorist crime, participating in the criminal agreement to commit a terrorist crime, spreading false news and information, and using an account on the Internet to commit a terrorist crime.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #800000; color: #ffffff;\"><b>State Council Courts<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On June 4, the Administrative Judiciary Court (Second Circuit) decided to adjourn the examination hearing of the two lawsuits filed by AFTE, demanding broadcasting of the sessions of the House of Representatives and the Senate by various visual, audio, and written means, to the following October 22 hearing, For the presence of the representatives of the two councils.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AFTE filed the two lawsuits in May 2021 against the House of Representatives and the Senate speakers, demanding that the two council sessions to be broadcasted on TV, digitally via the councils\u2019 websites and social media, in the official gazette for all citizens to reach the discussions and decisions taking place within the two councils, AFTE sees that preventing the broadcast of the sessions violates the constitution, especially Article 68 regarding the exchange of information.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #800000; color: #ffffff;\"><b>Reports to the attorney general\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In June 7, AFTE submitted a report to the attorney general that is bearing No. 32276 of 2023; To open an urgent investigation into the incident of the hunger strike of the Assistant Professor of Political Science at the Faculty of Economic Studies and Political Science at Alexandria University, Ahmed AlTohamy, which began on June 3, to transfer him to the prison hospital to receive medical treatment, and releasing him under any guarantee.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The contunued pretrial detention of three years without justification prompted AlTohamy to start a full hunger strike as he informed his family, and also without legal basis, as AlTohamy exceeded the maximum period of pretrial detention.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Police forces arrested Al-Tohamy from his home on 3 June 2020, against accusations of collaborating with the Egyptian activist Mohamed Sultan, who is residing in the United States, in the case Sultan filed against the former Prime Minister Hazem Al-Beblawy, which AlTohamy has denied before the prosecution.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Criminal Court\u00a0 June 5 hearings: &nbsp; The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed the detention of Zamalek Football Club fan known as \u201cAgogo Amar\u201d, Mohamed Abdul Latif, for 45 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 2000 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).
