The Court also decided to keep Kassem in custody until the next hearing.<\/p>\n<p>The Prosecution summoned Kassem to investigate him based on a report submitted by the former Minister of Manpower and member of the Presidential Pardon Committee, Kamal Abu Eita, against Qasim, accusing him of insulting and defaming him on social media. A security force arrested Nasr from Alexandria on November 2; he forcibly disappeared for five days before being brought before the investigation authorities, that accused him of joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, using social media to call for a terrorist act, participating in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist crime, incitement to commit a terrorist crime, and publishing and spreading false news and information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed the detention of Zamalek football club fan known as \u201cAgogo Amar,\u201d Mohamed Abdul Latif for 45 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 2000 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p>Abdul Latif exceeded two years in pretrial detention as security forces arrested him in August 2021 against accusations of joining a terrorist group (Ultras White Knights), publishing false news and information, and using social media to publish false news.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed Mohamed Mahmoud Amer Abdel Aziz\u2019s detention for 45 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 1984 of 2021 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).<\/p>\n<p>Security forces arrested Abdel Aziz on October 15, 2021, from his house; he forcibly disappeared for a month and a half. He later appeared before the Prosecution against charges of joining a terrorist group.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>September 3 hearings:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed the detention of the 45-year-old farm owner Ahmed Mahmoud Ali Elhadidi\u2019s detention for 45 days pending investigations of lawsuit No. 2094 of 2022 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p>Security forces arrested him on November 9 after posting calls for November 11 demonstrations of his Facebook profile, and he faces accusations of joining a terrorist group, financing terrorism, incitement to commit a terrorist crime, participating in a criminal agreement aimed to commit a terrorist crime, spreading false news and information, and using an internet account to commit a terrorist crime.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed\u2019s detention for 45 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 93 of 2022 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).<\/p>\n<p>Hanfy was arrested from his house in Qena governorate. he was interrogated before the Supreme State Security Prosecution for the first time last February 22, which accused him of spreading false news,\u00a0 joining a terrorist group, and using an account on social media with the aim of spreading false news.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Also, The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed the detention of Ahmed Abdel Mageed Oraby for 45 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 2094 of 2022 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p>A security force arrested Oraby in November after he shared several posts on Facebook containing his political opinions and comments on the domestic situation; notably, Oraby was detained for a year and a half pending the case of \u201cAl-Ittihadiya Palace events.\u201d he also lost his left eye in the clashes of Mohamed Mahmoud street.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation authorities accused Oraby of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, committing the crime of financing terrorism, inciting to commit a terrorist crime, participating in the criminal agreement to commit a terrorist crime, spreading false news and information, and using an account on the Internet to commit a terrorist crime.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Criminal Court (First Circuit) renewed Mohamed Abdel Aal Abou El-Dahab\u2019s detention for 45 days, pending investigations of lawsuit No. 2094 of 2022 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p>Security forces arrested Abou El-Dahab on November 10; he appeared before the prosecution five days later to face accusations of joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, using social media to promote a terrorist act, participating in a criminal agreement to commit a terrorist crime (demonstrations), inciting to commit a terrorist crime (demonstrations), and spreading false news and statements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #800000; color: #ffffff;\"><b>Supreme State Security Prosecution\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On September 4, The Supreme State Security Prosecution renewed Mohamed Ibrahim Abdo\u2019s detention for 15 days pending investigations of lawsuit No. 2064 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p>Security forces arrested Abdo from his house in Monufia Governorate on August 21 because he published video clips criticizing the current president\u2019s policies and appeared before the prosecution a week after his arrest. The prosecution accused Abdo of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and using an internet account to commit a crime.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>September 6 hearings:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Supreme State Security Prosecution renewed Khaled Abdel Wahed Amin\u2019s detention, the member of the presidential campaign of the potential candidate\u00a0 Ahmed Al Tantawy, for 15 days pending investigations of lawsuit No. 191 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p>A security force arrested Amin from his house on August 27 and presented him before the prosecution on the same day. The Public Prosecution interrogated him about posts on his personal Facebook account sharing his political and economic views. Afterward, the prosecution accused him of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news and information that would harm public peace and order, and using a social media account to spread false news and information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Supreme State Security Prosecution renewed Mohamed Ramadan Asr\u2019s detention for 15 days pending investigations of lawsuit No. 1976 of 2023 (Supreme State Security).<\/p>\n<p>Security forces arrested the 42-year-old property guard in Mokkatam, Asr, over posting videos on TikTok where he spoke of the country\u2019s economic situation and electricity outage. The prosecution accused him of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and using an internet account to commit a crime.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"background-color: #800000; color: #ffffff;\"><b>Reports of the Public Prosecutor&#8217;s Office<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>AFTE submitted a report to the public prosecutor\u2019s office to investigate the reasons for Poet Galal\u00a0 Al-Behairi\u2019s hunger strike and calling for his release. The report carries No. 50598 of 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Al-Behairi started his hunger strike on September 5, as it\u2019s his second year in pretrial detention in connection with lawsuit No. 2000 of 2021, preceded by another three years in detention pending other lawsuits.
