It focuses on the freedom of the press and media, artistic and creative expression, digital expression, academic freedom, and student rights. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/afteegypt.org\/en\/highlight_en\/2024\/06\/04\/37481-afteegypt.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Advocacy\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37582\" organizations have issued a joint statement supporting the letter by five UN Special Rapporteurs, published on 19 May 2024, addressing the Egyptian government regarding the ongoing targeting of human rights lawyers through the use of counter-terrorism legislation, resulting in their imprisonment or compelling them to stop their human rights activities. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/afteegypt.org\/en\/legal-profiles-en\/legal-news-en\/2024\/06\/11\/37544-afteegypt.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">More<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight:
