Kasr Al-Nile Appealatte Misdeminor has adjourned considering the lawsuit filed by the film producer Mohamed Al-Sobky against the journalist Rahma Samy of Rouz Al-Yousif, along with the CEO and the Editor in chief of the newspaper, to the 10th of February, to inform the complainant.
This is based on the statement of a performing artist published by the journalist which claims that Al-Sobky has told the actress “strip off your clothes in order to act”. The firs degree court has decided to fine each of the defendants 5000 EGP, and 10000 EGP for all of them together.
