Mahmoud Mostafa Mahmoud released under guarantee of his residence

On July 24, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to release Mahmoud Mostafa Mahmoud, under the guarantee of his residence, in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

Mahmoud faced charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing an account on social media to spread false news.

7 July 2022 “Hussein Ali Hussein and Nour Al-Din Shaker released under guarantee of their residence” 

Today, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to release both Hussein Ali Hussein and Nour Al-Din Shaker, under the guarantee of their place of residence, in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

Both Shaker and Hussein faced charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing an account on social media to spread false news.

12 June 2022 

On June 12, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of Nour Al-Din Shaker, Hussein Ali Hussein and Mahmoud Mostafa Mahmoud for 45 days in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

Shaker was arrested from his house in Assiut on June 23, 2020, against the backdrop of joining the banned Ultras Zamalkawy group, the current case is the second case he’s been listed in since hir arrest.

The three defendants face charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing an account on social media to spread false news.

9 May 2022 Criminal Court renews Nour Al-Din Shaker’s detention for 45 days pending his second case

On May 9, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of Nour Al-Din Shaker for 45 days in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

On June 23, 2020, Shaker was arrested from his house in Assiut, against the backdrop of joining the banned Ultras Zamalkawy group; one month later; he appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution in connection with Case No. 751 of 2020 (Supreme State Security), he was involved in the current case after his release pending the first case.

Shaker faces charges of joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing an account on social media to spread false news.

8 February 2022 “Criminal Court renews Nour Al-Din Shaker’s detention for 45 days”

On February 8, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of Nour Al-Din Shaker for 45 days in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

On July 23, 2020, Security forces arrested Shaker from his house in Assiut against the backdrop of joining the banned Ultras Zamalkawy group. He was subjected to enforced disappearance for nearly a month and to many violations. He appeared before the prosecution in connection with Case No. 751 of 2020 Supreme State Security, and he was rotated in connection with the current case after issuing his release order that didn’t pass.

The investigations charged him with joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing an account social media for the aim of spreading false news.

9 October 2021

Saturday, October 9, The Criminal Court (The Council Chamber) considered the detention order of “Nour Al-Din Shaker” and ordered to extend it for 45 days. This came pending Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

On July 23, 2020, “Shaker” was arrested from his house in Assiut against the background of joining the banned “Ultras Zamalkawy” group. He was subjected to enforced disappearance for nearly a month and to many violations. He appeared before the prosecution pending Case No. 751 of 2020 Supreme State Security, to be rotated pending the current case.

The investigations charged him with joining a terrorist group, spreading false news, and misusing a social media website for the aim of spreading false news.

30 August 2021

The Council Chamber of the Criminal Court, held at Institute of Police Secretaries in Tura, considered the detention order “Nour Al-Din Shaker”, and ordered to renew his detention for 45 extra days, this came pending Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security Prosecution, The mentioned court considered the order to renew the detention on Monday, August 30, 2021, in the presence of AFTE’s lawyer.

On June 23, 2020, “Nour Al-Din” was arrested from his house in Assiut governorate, against the background of joining “Ultras Zamalkawy” group, and after being subjected to enforced disappearance for 27 days and many violations, he appeared before the prosecution pending Case No. 751 of 2020 Supreme State Security, to be rotated pending the current case.

1 August 2021

The Council Chamber of the Criminal Court considered the detention order of “Nour Al-Din Shaker”, and ordered to renew his detention for 45 extra days, this came pending Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security, The mentioned court considered the order to renew the defendant’s detention , August 1, 2021, in the presence of AFTE’s lawyer.

“Nour” was arrested on June 23, 2020, from his house in Assuit governorate, against the background of joining “Ultras Zamalkawy” group, and after being subjected to enforced disappearance for 27 days and many violations, he appeared before the prosecution pending Case No. 751 of 2020 Supreme State Security, to be recycled pending the current case.
