Supreme State Security Prosecution renews the detention of worker Mohamed Raafat Nasr for 15 days

On January 30, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mohamed Raafat Nasr for 15 days in connection with case No. 1977 of 2022 (Supreme State Security).

Nasr works at a shop in Hadara district, Alexandria governorate; he was arrested on November 2 and was illegally detained in an unknown place for five days before he was brought before the investigation authorities against charges of joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, using social media to call for a terrorist act, participating in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist crime, incitement to commit a terrorist crime, publishing and spreading false news and information.

16 January 2023 

On January 16, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mohamed Raafat Nasr for 15 days in connection with case No. 1977 of 2022 (Supreme State Security). 

Security forces arrested Nasr on November 2; he was interrogated before the prosecution five days later, which in turn charged him with joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, using social media to call for a terrorist act, participating in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist crime, incitement to commit a terrorist crime, publishing and spreading false news and information.

1 January 2022 “Supreme State Security Prosecution renews the detention of worker Mohamed Raafat Nasr for 15 days” 

On January 1. The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mohamed Raafat Nasr for 15 days in connection with case No. 1977 of 2022 (Supreme State Security), as it was impossible to bring him from his prison cell to attend the hearing before the prosecution. 

Nasr was arrested on November 2, 2022; he was subjected to illegal detention for five days before he was brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution, which charged him with joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, using social media to call for a terrorist act, participating in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist crime, incitement to commit a terrorist crime, publishing and spreading false news and information.

18 December 2022

On December 18, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mohamed Raafat Nasr for 15 days in connection with case No. 1977 of 2022 (Supreme State Security).

Security forces arrested Nasr on November 2; he was interrogated before the prosecution on November 7 and faces charges of joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, using social media to call for a terrorist act, participating in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist crime, incitement to commit a terrorist crime, publishing and spreading false news and information.

4 December 2022

On December 4, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mohamed Raafat Nasr for 15 days in connection with case No. 1977 of 2022 (Supreme State Security). 

Mohamed Raafat Nasr is a worker at a store in Hadra district in Alexandria; security forces arrested him on November 2; five days later, he was interrogated before the prosecution, which in turn charged him with joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, using social media to call for a terrorist act, participating in a criminal agreement intended to commit a terrorist crime, incitement to commit a terrorist crime, publishing and spreading false news and information.
