Today, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to release Ahmed Nabil Ebrahim under the guarantee of his place of residence, in connection with case No. 2094 of 2022 (Supreme State Security).
Security forces arrested Ebrahim on November 11 from a street in the Dokki district after forcing him to stop to search his mobile phone; he appeared before the prosecution 10 days later against charges of joining a terrorist group, committing the crime of financing terrorism, inciting to commit a terrorist crime, participating in a criminal agreement aimed to commit a terrorist crime, spreading false news and statements and using an account on the internet aiming to commit a terrorist crime.
