Al-Manassa Editor-in-chief, Nora Younis, released

Maadi Prosecution has ordered , today, Al-Manassa Editor-in-chief, Nora Younis, to be released on LE10, 000 bail, in police record no. 9455 for 2020, El Maadi Misdemeanor. Younis is accused of creating a website with the aim of committing a crime punishable by the law, possession of a software program developed without the permission of the National Communications Regulatory Authority, infringement of literary and financial property rights, and unlawful use of information and telecommunication technology.

A security force, which claimed to be affiliated to the artistic works investigation, raided the headquarters of “Al-Manassa” press website, yesterday and arrested the website’s editor-in-chief, Nora Younis. Al-Manassa website had been blocked in Egypt for three years.
