Today, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to release Mostafa Gamal under the guarantee of his place of residence, in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

Mostafa was arrested in March 2018, he was rotated into three different cases with the same charges that included joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, creating an account on social media to spread false news for a terrorist purpose, and publishing and broadcasting false news and statements that would disturb public security and order.

Yesterday, the Criminal Court (Fourth Circuit Terrorism) decided to renew the detention of Mostafa Gamal for 45 days in connection with lawsuit No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security). The third case in which Gamal has been listed in since his arrest on the first of March 2018.

Gamal was listed in the current case since January of last year, and he faces charges of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, creating an account on social media to spread false news for a terrorist purpose, and publishing and broadcasting false news and statements that would disturb public security and order. Which are the exact charges he faced in the two previous cases.

9 May 2022 

Yesterday, The Criminal Court (The Second Circuit Terrorism) decided to renew the detention of Mostafa Gamal for 45 days in connection with lawsuit No. 65 of 2021 (Supreme State Security).

Gamal was arrested on March 1, 2018; after his arrest, he was rotated in three different lawsuits; the latest is the current lawsuit in which he has been listed since January 19, 2021.

Gamal faces charges of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, creating an account on social media to spread false news for a terrorist purpose, and publishing and broadcasting false news and statements that would disturb public security and order. The exact charges he faced in the previous lawsuits.

Yesterday, The Criminal Court (The Third Circuit Terrorism) decided to renew the detention of Mostafa Gamal for 45 days in connection with Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security.

30 August 2021

The Third Circuit Terrorism, held at Institute of Police Secretaries in Tura, considered the detention order of “Mostafa Gamal”, and ordered to renew his detention for 45 extra days, this came pending Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security, The mentioned court considered the order to renew the detention on Monday, August 30, 2021, in the presence of AFTE’s lawyer.

On the first of March, 2018, the police forces arrested Gamal from his home, and he was listed pending case No. 480 of 2018, and he was kept for two years and two months in pretrial detention pending investigations, until the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to issue its decision to release him under the guarantee of his place of residence, however, the decision wasn’t implemented and he got rotated pending case No. 730 of 2020 Supreme State Security, On January 4, 2021, The Supreme State Security Prosecution issued a decision to release him, but this decision wasn’t implemented either, he was rotated for the second time pending the current case on January 19, 2021.

The Third Circuit Terrorism had decided in Sunday’s session July 4, 2021, held at Institue of Police Secretaries in Tura, to renew the detention of “Mostafa Gamal Kamel Mohamed”, for 45 days pending investigations of Case No. 65 of 2021 Supreme State Security.

In which he’s accused of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its aims, creating an account of social media “Facebook” to spread false news for a terrorist purpose, publishing and broadcasting false news and statements that would disturb public security and order.It’s also noteworthy that he was detained pending Case No. 480 of 2018 Supreme State Security, and he was kept for two years and two months in pretrial detention pending investigations until the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to issue its decision to release him under the guarantee of his place of residence, However, he was unlawfully detained in an unknown location to his family and lawyers until he was recycled pending Case No. 730 of 2020 Supreme State Security, and a judgment was rendered on January 4, 2021, by The Criminal Court Third Circuit Terrorism, to place him under the precautionary measures “probation by the police station attributed to his place of residence for 2 days, 3 hours”, pending the previous Case No. 730 of 2020 Supreme State Security, but this judgment was not implemented and he was unlawfully detained until he was before to the Prosecution that decided to detain him again pending the current case with the same previous accusations.

It’s also noteworthy that he was detained pending Case No. 480 of 2018 Supreme State Security, with the same accusations, and he spent two years and two months in pretrial detention pending investigations, until the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to issue its decision to release him under the guarantee of his place of residence, However, he was unlawfully detained in an unknown location to his family and lawyers until he was recycled pending Case No. 730 of 2020 Supreme State Security, and a judgment was rendered on January 4, 2021, by The Criminal Court Third Circuit Terrorism, to place him under the precautionary measures “probation by the police station attributed to his place of residence for 2 days, 3 hours”, pending the previous Case No. 730 of 2020 Supreme State Security, but this judgment was not implemented and he was unlawfully detained until he was before to the Prosecution that decided to detain him again pending the current case with the same previous accusations.
