State delegated Authority to advise Mohamed Lotfy Abdellatif’s appeal against Tertiary Admissions Centre and The minister of higher education on April 27

On March 27, the State delegated Authority decided to set the next April 27 hearing to advise its legal opinion regarding appeal No. 70102 of 75 filed by AFTE on behalf of Mohamed Lotfy Abdellatif, against the Tertiary Admissions Centre and The minister of higher education.

The Association for Freedom of Thought and Expression filed the appeal last September, as the appellant is convicted in a joining a terrorist group and displaying strength lawsuit, and he’s serving a ten-year prison sentence in Wadi el-Natrun prison; he passed the general secondary inside his prison cell. However, the Tertiary Admissions Centre refused to accept his admission papers to join a university. And AFTE demands to allow the appellant to resume his university studies.
