Criminal Court renews Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed’s detention for 45 days

On August 28, the Criminal Court (Second Terrorism Circuit) decided to renew the detention of Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed for 45 days, in connection with case No. 93 of 2022 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).

Hanfy was arrested from his house in Qena, he appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution for the first time pending the current case on February 22,, which in turn charged him with spreading false news,  joining a terrorist group, and using an account on social media with the aim of spreading false news.

24 July 2022 “Cairo Criminal Court renews Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed’s pretrial detention for 45 days” 

On July 24, Cairo Criminal Terrorism Court decided to renew the detention of Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed for 45 days, in connection with case No. 93 of 2022 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).

Hanfy was arrested from his house in Qena, and on February 22, he appeared before the Supreme State Security Prosecution pending the current case, which in turn charged him with spreading false news,  joining a terrorist group, and using an account on social media with the aim of spreading false news.

 

19 June 2022 “Supreme State Security Prosecution renews Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed’s detention for 15 days” 

Today, The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed for 15 days, in connection with case No. 93 of 2022 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).

Hanfy was arrested from his house in Qena governorate, he was brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution for the first time last February 22, and he faces charges of spreading false news,  joining a terrorist group, and using an account on social media with the aim of spreading false news.

5 June 2022 Supreme State Security Prosecution renews Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed’s detention for 15 days

Yesterday, The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed for 15 days, in connection with Case No. 93 of 2022 (Supreme State Security Prosecution). In which he faces charges of spreading false news,  joining a terrorist group, and using an account on social media with the aim of spreading false news.

Mohamed was brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution for the first time last February 22, after being arrested from his house in Qena governorate.

22 May 2022 Supreme State Security Prosecution renews Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed’s detention for 15 days

Yesterday, The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to renew the detention of Mahmoud Hanfy Mohamed for 15 days, in connection with lawsuit No. 93 of 2022 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).

The defendant was arrested from his house in Qena governorate, and he was brought before the Supreme State Security Prosecution for the first time last February 22, and he’s currently serving his term in Qanater men’s prison.

The investigations charged him with spreading false news,  joining a terrorist group, and using an account on social media with the aim of spreading false news.
