Criminal Court renews the detention of Ahmed Adel and Fahmy Mohamed for 45 days

On December 27, the Criminal Court (the Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of Ahmed Adel Sultan and Fahmy Mohamed Mahmoud for 45 days in connection with Case No. 1480 of 2019 (Supreme State Security).

Security forces arrested Sultan on September 12, 2019. Both Sultan and Mahmoud face charges of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.

On August 9, the Criminal Court (the Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of both Ahmed Adel Sultan and Fahmy Mohamed Mahmoud for 45 days in connection with Case No. 1480 of 2019 (Supreme State Security).

Both Sultan and Mahmoud face charges of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.

On June 29, the Criminal Court (the Council Chamber) decided to renew the detention of both Ahmed Adel Sultan and Fahmy Mohamed Mahmoud, for 45 days in connection with Case No. 1480 of 2019 (Supreme State Security). 

Both the defendants face charges of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.
