The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to release Mustafa Ahmed Ramadan, guaranteed by his residence place, pending investigations in Digital Case No. 1277 of 2024, Supreme State Security, because of his participation in the solidarity stand with the Palestinian cause on the stairs of the Journalists Syndicate on 3 April.

The prosecution charged Mustafa with participating in a terrorist group in achieving its goals, and publishing and broadcasting false news and statements, in order to harm security and public order.

Mustafa was arrested at dawn on 4 April 2024 from his home after a police force went to his home during his absence, and he returned home after a phone call from his father.

It is worth mentioning that the prosecution confronted Mustafa with pictures on his mobile phone, which were taken of him while he was participating in the protest, and Mustafa admitted that he owned the phone.
