Supreme State Security releases Ahmed Abdel Karim after his arrest for participating in a protest against the war in Gaza

The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to release Ahmed Abdel Karim Mohamed Ahmed, guaranteed by his residence place, pending investigations in Case No. 1277 of 2024, Supreme State Security, on charges of participating in a terrorist group and participating in a gathering.

Ahmed, 27 years old, had traveled from his home in Hurghada Governorate the day before to participate in the protest against the war on Gaza, which was organized on the stairs of the Journalists Syndicate, and he was arrested from a checkpoint in Ras Gharib in Hurghada Governorate, during his return home.

 

4 April 2024: Supreme State Security detained Ahmed Abdel Karim for 15 days on charges of participating in a protest against the war on Gaza

 

The Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to detain Ahmed Abdel Karim Mohamed Ahmed for 15 days, pending investigations in Case No. 1277 of 2024, Supreme State Security, on charges of participating in a terrorist group and participating in a gathering.
