AFTE’s Lawsuit Against Benha University Over Teaching Assistant Appointment Postponed to 26 August

The Administrative Court in Qalyubya postponed hearing the appeal of AFTE at the State Council court in Benha City on behalf of Nada Osama Abdel-Mughny against the Faculty of Arts at Benha University due to the negative decision to refrain from appointing her as a teaching assistant at the college, despite her eligibility, until the 26 August session. 

The court allowed the correction of the form of lawsuit No. 7026 of the 11th judicial year by adding a request to appeal the five-year plan for appointing teaching assistants at the Faculty of Arts, Benha University (Media Department).

The Foundation for Freedom of Thought and Expression (AFTE) filed a lawsuit at the State Council court in the city of Benha, on behalf of Nada Osama Abdel-Mughni against the Faculty of Arts at Benha University due to the negative decision to refrain from appointing her as a teaching assistant at the college, despite her eligibility. 

This is case No. 7026 of the 11th judicial year. The court set an April 7 session to consider the case at the State Commissioner’s Authority. 

AFTE attended the session and presented the supporting papers, and the State Commissioners Authority decided to reserve the case for a report.
