The Academic Detainees Category

To list a detained person in the Academics’ category, the following conditions must be met;

-The detainee is a faculty member at one of the Egyptian or foreign universities;
-The detainee is an enrolled researcher at one of the Egyptian or foreign universities;
-The detention is because of his academic activities or expressing his opinion.
*The current list includes the academic detainees since the beginning of 2019.
