Detention Renewed for Khaled Mokhimer for 15 Days Over Publishing His Torture Incedent

The Supreme State Security Prosecution renewed the pretrial detention of Khaled Mohamed Ali Mokhimer, known as “Logy,” for 15 days, pending the ongoing investigations of lawsuit No. 2846 of 2026 (Supreme State Security), Logy is accused in connection with a video he posted on social media recounting his experience of torture inside a police station and alleging that security personnel unlawfully seized money he had in his possession.

It is noteworthy that the defendant is transgender and had begun gender transition procedures before being re‑arrested on April 15, 2026. He faces charges of using an online platform to promote a terrorist act, publishing false news and statements that could disturb public order and social peace, and undermining the authority of the state.


1 June 2026

The Supreme State Security Prosecution interrogated Khaled Mohamed Ali Mokhimer, known as “Logy,” in case No. 2846 of 2026 (Supreme State Security).

Logy was charged in the case after posting a video on social media recounting his experience of torture at the Dekheila Police Station and accusing police officers of stealing money from his apartment. His defense requested that the prosecution investigate these incidents and treat the torture claims as an official complaint.

It is noted that the defendant is transgender and faces charges of using an online platform to promote a terrorist act, publishing false news and statements that could disturb public order and social peace, and undermining the authority of the state.


17 May 2026

Today, the Supreme State Security Prosecution interrogated Khaled Mohamed Ali Mokhimer, known as “Logy,” in case No. 2846 of 2026 (Supreme State Security), and ordered his detention for 15 days, and accused him of using a website to commit the crime of promoting a terrorist act, as well as publishing false news and statements that could disturb public security and peace and undermine the authority of the state.

It is noted that Logy is a transgender person and has begun gender transition procedures. He was arrested on April 15 after posting videos on Facebook and TikTok in which he spoke about torture he allegedly endured at the Dekheila Police Station. He was arrested for the first time on December 28, when he accused police officers of stealing money from his apartment and assaulting him physically.


3 May 2026

On May 3, the Supreme State Security Prosecution renewed the pretrial detention of Khaled Mohamed Ali Mokhimer, known as “Logy,” for 15 days, pending the ongoing investigations of lawsuit No. 2846 of 2026 (Supreme State Security).

Logy is a transgender person and has begun gender transition procedures. His arrest took place on April 15, 2026, after posting about torture he allegedly endured at the Dekheila Police Station when he was first arrested on December 28, 2025. He then accused police officers of stealing money from his apartment and assaulting him physically.
