Disciplinary Board for Appeals of Helwan University has upheld the decision of expelling Theater department student Tasnim Hagag, and History department student Ahmed Talaat for a semester.
Disciplinary Board had decided to expel the students in absentia, for the two students has been charged with organizing demonstrations against Redrawing Egypt-Saudi maritime borders and Egypt’s waiver of the Tiran and Sanafir islands, inside the campus on April 25th 2016. Subsequently, the two students have appealed the decision, just to be upheld today.
