Benha’s first court has renewed Mahmoud Mohamed Emam’s pretrial detention of for 45 days pending lawsuit 1959/2018.

Emam is charged with joining and participating in a terrorist group, circulating fake news, and possessing anti-state flyers. From his side, Emam told AFTE’s lawyer that the main reason behind his detention is his writings on social media.
