Supreme State Security Prosecution detains journalist Haitham Mahgoub for 15 days

he Supreme State Security Prosecution decided, yesterday, to detain Haitham Hassan Abdel Aziz Mahgoub, the journalist at Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, for 15 days, pending investigations into case No. 586 of 2020, State Security.
The prosecution accused Mahgoub of joining a terrorist group, financing that group, and spreading false news.

Mahgoub was arrested on May 11, 2020, from his home.

The State Security Prosecution interrogated Haitham Hassan Abdel Aziz Mahgoub, the journalist at Al-Masry Al-Youm newspaper, who is accused in case No. 586 of the year 2020, State Security.
