On 10 July 2020, a police force arrested Mohamed from a café near her home in the Raml Station district in Alexandria. She was arrested in connection with lawsuit No. 27782 which lawyer Ashraf Farahat filed against her on 7 July 2020.

In his lawsuit, Farahat stated that Mohamed had created several accounts on TikTok and Instagram to post short videos and pictures in which she makes suggestive gestures with the aim of attracting viewers and collecting money, thus infringing on the customs and traditions of society. He emphasized that the content provided by Mohamed shows that she is intentionally showing her charms to attract viewers.

The prosecution ordered her release until the videos in question are examined. It seized her mobile phone. The case is still under investigation and has not been referred to court.
