The Cairo Criminal Court (Second Circuit, Nozha) adjourned consideration of case No. 1222 of 2021 (State Security), registered under No. 16967 of 2024 (Nozha Criminal Court) and No. 3840 of 2024 (East Cairo Public Prosecution), in which Abdullah Hani Saeed is accused, to 28 September 2026 to hear witness testimony.
The court postponed the session due to the absence of some defendants who could not be transferred from custody to the courtroom, deciding not to hear witnesses while the defendants were absent. At the previous session, the court heard testimony from two prosecution witnesses, specifically the officers who carried out the arrests and searches of defendants in the case, and was scheduled to continue hearing the remaining witnesses.
Abdullah Said faces charges of joining a terrorist organization with knowledge of its purposes.

On April 14, the Cairo Criminal Court (Second Terrorism Circuit) adjourned the trial session of Abdullah Hany Mohamed Saeed, pending Case No. 1222 of 2021 (Supreme State Security), registered under No. 16967 of 2024 (Nozha Criminal Court Felonies) and No. 3840 of 2024 (East Cairo), to June 9, 2026.
The postponement was decided to continue hearing prosecution witnesses, specifically the officers who carried out the arrest and inspection procedures of the defendant. In the first trial session, originally scheduled for January 13 but postponed to April 14 due to difficulties in transferring the defendants, the court heard the testimony of the first prosecution witness, a National Security officer who conducted the investigations.
It is noteworthy that Abdullah Said faces charges of joining a terrorist group with knowledge of its purposes.

The Cairo Criminal Court (Second Terrorism Circuit) has decided to adjourn the trial of Abdullah Hany Mohamed Saeed, who is currently in detention pending investigations in Case No. 1222 of 2021 (State Security Emergency), to April 14, In order to hear the testimony of prosecution witnesses.
The first session of the trial was held on November 9 last year. However, due to the defendants’ absence, the session was postponed first to January 13 and now to April 14.
It is worth noting that Abdullah Saeed faces charges of joining a terrorist group while being aware of its objectives.
