Nasr City Second Prosecution decided on Monday, 16 February 2026, to release Amr Sherif Abdel Raouf Mostafa, Mostafa Fathy Mohamed Moslem, Ibrahim Yasser Ibrahim Nouh, and others on bail of EGP 1,000 each, pending investigations in Case No. 1742 of 2026 (Misdemeanors, Nasr City Second).

The decision followed the Public Prosecution’s questioning of the defendants over allegations of committing acts of disorder in the stands during the football match between Al Ahly SC and AS FAR.

Security forces had arrested the released defendants in connection with incidents that took place during the match held on 15 February 2026 at Cairo International Stadium, which witnessed some Al Ahly supporters throwing water bottles onto the pitch.
