Detention of Medical Equipment Salesperson Renewed for 15 Days

The South Cairo Court (Consuling Chamber) decided to renew the detention of Mohamed Nousa Ibrahim for 15 days, pending investigations in case No. 6537 of 2026 (Misr al‑Qadima Misdemeanors).

Nousa, who works as a sales representative for a medical equipment company, was arrested on 18 May 2026 and held unlawfully for ten days before being presented to the investigating authorities. He faces charges of joining the banned group, the Muslim Brotherhood, and possessing publications.
