On June 29, the Supreme State Security Prosecution decided to annul the precautionary measures imposed on Ahmed Abdel-Aal Fazaa, in connection with Case No. 915 of 2021 (Supreme State Security Prosecution).
On May 29, the Criminal Court decided to replace Fazaa’s detention with a precautionary measures, as the defendant shall hand himself over to a police station in his place of residence several times weekly.
Fazaa was arrested in August of 2021, and he faced charges of joining a terrorist group and spreading false news.
