Release of 4 Defendants Arrested for Organizing a Solidarity Protest for Palestine on October 7 Anniversary

The Qasr al-Nil Prosecution has released 4 persons on bail of 5,000 Egyptian pounds each, three days after their arrest from the 15 May Bridge during a solidarity stand with the Palestinian cause on the occasion of the October 7 anniversary. 

The accused are Nada Muhammad Fakhri Abdel Azim, Habiba Tamer Muhammad Fouad, Shahab Ahmed Rifaat Ahmed, and Abdullah Fahmy Abdel Wahab Fahmy. 

The prosecution investigated the four during two sessions on October 9 and 10, on charges of organizing a demonstration, and inciting citizens to break the law, under case number 7331 of 2024, Qasr al-Nil misdemeanors.

The Qasr al-Nil Prosecution decided to present two young men and two young women the following day, after they were arrested from the 15 May Bridge during a solidarity stand with the Palestinian cause on the occasion of the October 7 anniversary, and ordered the investigation report to be presented during the session. 

The accused are Nada Muhammad Fakhri Abdel Azim, Habiba Tamer Muhammad Fouad, Shahab Ahmed Rifaat Ahmed, and Abdullah Fahmy Abdel Wahab Fahmy. 

The prosecution investigated the four on charges of organizing a demonstration, and inciting citizens to break the law, in case number 7331 of 2024, Qasr al-Nil misdemeanors.
