The Cairo Criminal Court, convening at the Badr Rehabilitation and Correction Center (First Terrorism Circuit), decided to adjourn the trial in Case No. 778 of 2025, Nasr City First Felonies, registered under State Security Prosecution Case No. 2215, in which Amr Khamis Abd El-Qawy Zidan is charged with joining a terrorist organization with knowledge of its objectives and participating in achieving its purposes, to a session scheduled for April 19.
The court had held the first hearing in the case on November 1, 2025, before adjourning it during the January 17, 2026 session to allow the defense team to review the case file. The court has now postponed the proceedings to hear the testimony of prosecution witnesses from the National Security Sector.
