Ayman Abdel Aziz Abdel Halim sentenced to one year in prison

On Sunday, November 7, The Emergency State Security Misdemeanors Court at Minya Al-Qamh issued a one-year prison sentence to Ayman Abdel Aziz Abdel Halim, in connection with report No. 3169 of 2021 (Minya Al-Qamh Emergency State Security Misdemeanour), on a charge of possessing publications that promote terrorist group ideas.

Abdel Halim was arrested on September 17 of the current year, to appear two days later before Minya Al-Qamh Prosecution to investigate him in connection with the mentioned report on charges of joining a terrorist group and possessing publications that promote its ideas.

Minya Al-Qamh Prosecution referred him to The Emergency State Security Court for October 9, 2021 session; later, the court adjourned the session to October 31 to decide after setting the lawsuit date for adjudication to November 7 and issue a one year sentence against him.
